Le chant des monstres is a painting exhibition that was presented at the Centre des arts et de la culture de Dieppe in New Brunswick as well as at the Espace Parenthèse at the Cégep de Sainte-Foy. The body of work presents strange scenes, often in the forest, and marked by a rapid application of paint and emphasizing the materiality of the material rather than the faithful representation of the subjects.

The etymology of monster would reveal roots linked to monstration, a word that relates to the fact of showing and which would oppose in a certain way to demonstration which is more of the order of the concept. Showing would therefore be the action of drawing attention to something without using words to describe it, the latter not being precise enough to identify the singularity of reality. The song of monsters is the expression of the particular that is received by the senses, without recourse to semantics.
